How has your style changed over time?
Over the years, my practice has evolved intuitively from drawing into painting. It took time to develop gestures and aesthetic choices that truly reflected my personality. Gradually, a visual language began to emerge one that feels increasingly aligned with my temperament and way of perceiving the world. It is rewarding to witness this artistic language slowly taking shape over time.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
Without a doubt, a combination of Agnes Martin and Raoul De Keyser. I am deeply touched by the humility and almost ascetic quality present in their work. The cut-outs of Henri Matisse also resonate with me because of their lightness and sense of freedom.
What motivates you to create?
What motivates me is the desire to explore the possibilities of color and gesture in art. Across different forms, I find great pleasure in experimenting with color while affirming the presence of gesture and the body. I am particularly interested in the sensitive and emotional experience that color can generate.
